Re: Blood Bowl as spectator sport

You'd need a pretty comprehensive on-screen overlay explaining skills at play and highlighting potential squares for pushes and so on.
That tabletop show with Whill Wheeton seemed to do a pretty good job when they reviewed bloodbowl, but that was only a brief overview not a full game.

Re: Whats the least well balanced/inappropriate roster

I'd suggest fix CPOMB by not including mighty blow in the claw role i.e a roll of 8 (before modification) always breaks armor.

Re: What's the most well-balanced/appropriate roster?

I quite like the vampire team for balance.
Sure, the vampires are tough and thralls are decent (if a little under-armored) but the risk of eating them is enough of a detractor.

Re: WARATAHS!!!!! WOOOOOOOOOO

I'm so cut about it... I'd been at most of the home games and even went to QLD for the Reds game but was at a rave on Saturday night instead of homebush...

Still, got the text score updates and I'm so stoked with the result!

Bring on the Bledisloe!

wow! Nice stuff with corpses!
I'm thinking white text on green for that one since the tagline helps drive home the brand recognition with coopers.

Re: Blood Bowl Advertisements - Australian Brands

I was doing some thinking a while back, this seems like a fair place to dump that mind-slush. Not all aussie, but still... I tried to find fonts that are not too difficult to corrupt / would be recognisable. Oracle = Orcle Budweiser = Bloodweiser Burger King = Block king Smirnoff = Send off Evian = ...

Very nice! Thanks for sharing man!
I really like the look of teams using white in their strip, it just lends an air of professional sports to the aesthetic.
Good job on the lot!

<SPOILER ALERT!>

I just wished they'd resisted the temptation to have Mystique's yellow eyes flashing in striker as Wolverine was picked up from the water...
It opens up so many questions, not least being - if she has him, when does he join the weapon X program?

Re: AWW game #38 - Horus Heresy Reboot

I guess you didn't kill whitetail because you assumed that he would use his heal and then be a normal villager, not realising that it would clear somebody for him (me) like it did. I also feel that your note to One Eye (which may have been meta-gaming info) re: the healer being overpowered may have ...

Re: AWW game #38 - Horus Heresy Reboot

Sorry for my absence, jobhunting has become a rather time-consuming sport. Now, whitetail, as you have probably surmised, I am the leader/tie-breaker, which is why neither Virral nor Sindex have claimed that, as they know it would be suicide. I don't have a lot to read here, other than some uncharac...

Re: AWW game #38 - Horus Heresy Reboot

I don't think that plan will woprk anymore, it will out our captain for no gain.
I thought Captain was called on to resolve a tie, but instead his vote is doubled ifit can PREVENT a tie.
So I'll vote Joekano

Re: AWW game #38 - Horus Heresy Reboot

How does the tie break work? Is it the captain vote counts for two? Or if there is a tie then the captain is asked to vote again in secret? Because if it's the latter, then I'd like whitetail to change his vote (making it 2 each on Virral and joe) and I'll abstain from voting so the captain doesn't ...

Re: AWW game #38 - Horus Heresy Reboot

Actually yeah, if the captain reveals, then if the wolf claims we make a 50/50 between them (although with an uneven number of players and one of them unwilling to cooperate, that might be tricky) and captain chooses the wolf to be lynched. If the wolf doesn't claim then he's hiding among 3 dudes......

Re: AWW game anyone?

In light of whitetail's claim, I posit that:
We manufacture a tied vote, deliberately, knowing that it will be resolved by a good guy (albeit a blind one) and that he won't let himself be killed, thus further tilting the odds towards killing the Wolf.
