Re: WC3 list

For your halfling roster, I'd be tempted to cut the coach, cheerleader and one FF in favour of a 15th player, since you'll be going through them like they're going out of style. Skills look reasonable though. Another possibility would be to use the doubles to block up the trees. For the Underworld, ...

Re: Euc Bowl 2015 Feedback

* Painting/sports - I'm frankly not a fan of popularity contests, which both of these categories are. I'm especially not a fan of popularity contests being used as a tiebreaker (and that's not because I lost out on a prize from it - I'd state the same opinion if I had won). Painting could be run by ...

Darn, missed this thread. I'm interested if you happened to get any extras, otherwise it's my own darn fault for not checking Ausbowl frequently enough.

Re: Zombicide: Black Plague

The armour and Necromancers should combine to remove the "don't split the party" play style required by modern-day Zombicide. The greater variety of abominations should also be interesting (plus, some of those aboms will be tempting as BB big guys)

Re: Real Talk

One of the advantages of the non-cash prizes we have is that most are obtained for less than retail price, meaning we can have a greater prize pool compared to a potential cash prize pool. I know I'd rather attend a tournament like EucBowl where the average prize (retail value) plus gift pack (retai...

Dude, you can't claim its your trophy if you can't even field a team!
It's still ours until some other team wins it off us (like the Baabaas are going to do :P )

I was holding the trophy for a few months at the start and I don't have any kids (that I know about).

Yes, Boggy, I am bringing our trophy over.

How about the scenario you suggested, passing to an adjacent player who fails to catch it and it scatters back to the passer who uses Catch to reroll 7

Re: AusBowl SC3 - Bragging, Taunts and Speculation Thread

I was just answering a question el capitain... :P Basing selection on games played is a bit rough on new players, so I'd never support such a criteria. If your grinding numbers then NAF win/loss ratio might be more relevant? :P I'd be more inclined to do something like win/loss ratio for the last (...
