Classic Dungeon Adventurers

Post by impactminiatures »

Kickstarter is now up and running!

We are starting our next miniatures KickStarter next week as Chris and I are both children of the 80's and we wanted to do something completely different for us for fun.

So we'll be showing off the preview art for the miniatures we hope to get funding to create next.

Chibi miniatures (28 to 30mm total height) versions of 80s dungeon explorers.

FEAR NOT ...

Seeing that DM and Venger have been mentioned, I may just go into my first Kickstarter!

Looking forward to see costs etc.

What stretch goal do we see Tiamat at?

Same for Uni...?

Careful Frogbear, Kickstarter is a slippery slope! One project just leads to another. I've found myself almost happy sometimes when a project ends and I haven't backed it!

But not our projects ... Impact! KickStarters are clinically tested and do not cause KickStarter Addictive Overpledging Syndrome (KAOS). ;D

So please do back!

A really good question. In order to be affordable ... I'd need to have the figure 3-D modeled and then resin cast. The problem is we are JUST now experimenting with trying to do our first large figure through this method. I'm not sure I'll have a good answer for ... does it work? in time. So no # goal for Tiamat at this time but it could happen if we get enough evidence that we can go from 3-D computer art to resin miniatures with quality control in place.
Same for Uni...?
#6 I believe?

We are not staying just in one universe so we could bounce around a bit ... for example ... Goals #3 and #4 I think will head into a different realm before we return to the one we started in.

Chris has like 28 Stretch Goals planned out last he told me and even I don't know what they all are.

He was still not definite. I did this graphic for Stretch Goal #3 based on talking to Chris
Image
But I'm still not sure if it is the final decision on what Stretch Goal #3 will be. Only goals 1 and 2 are currently fully locked.

First 6 figures + 1st two Stretch Goal figures with shipping to Australia should be $46 USD for the 8 figures.

We are working with Trollcast to have these figures done in high quality spin-cast plastic to try and keep the figure cost down for this project as if these were pewter they would cost like $15 to $20 a piece just because of the amount of metal in them due to being much thicker and deeper miniatures compared to standard human figurines.
