UPGRADE COMPLETE!

Hey all we may be offline for a while. i will be performing an upgrade.

It should be relatively painless from all reports but as we know nothing is 100%.

OK guys we are back. I hope that resolves the issue.

I have updated to the May release of the forum software, so about 4 years of improvements!
Tapatalk is also on the latest release for this forum version too

Reply here with any issues.

There are some small things about but nothing major I hope.

OK another update, one of the mods was preventing posting. Well in actual fact it would error and post around 3 copies!

All fixed. Reply with any others. Hopefully future errors wont require maintenance mode

Not sure if this is all that major a bug (or a bug at all), but prior to the most recent upgrade, this site would auto-resize large images to fit within the fixed width forum pages on most browsers. Now, it simply crops them. Examples of cropping can be seen in this thread, where key players are now excluded from view, robbing an otherwise beautiful narrative of its poignancy!

If this is fixable bug or a setting that can be changed, I'd ideally like it to go back to the auto-shrinking functionality. No biggie, though...

Pretty sure this worked for me at nzbbn (though that was 2 years ago) Open common.css in the theme folder and add this code to the "img" class

Yeah that will do it, likely got overwritten in the upgrade as it is in the base css.

I'll get to it tomorrow. Just got PC back from hospital and need to get her all better!
