zzzzzzzzzzz works sucks, so do I! zzzzzzzzzzz
Whips crack and the oxen start to move forward and GladiatorLuke lifts into the air, arms stretching and legs pulling.
Even the crown with their blood boiling shrinks away from the sound of his joints dislocating.

He screams out in pain and is silenced quickly as his legs are torn from his body and his body hangs lifeless up against the lightning scarred tree.

AWW Feb - Spearmint Rhino: Day 3 (Thursday 8pm)

Post by Rabid_Bogscum »

There were claims and counterclaims from all the girls. Olaf and Angryman were squared off against Da_Boyzz and Gladiatorluke.
Check out Da_Boyzz sagging tits, Said Olaf.
And at the end of the day, that was all it took to convince the others. The chicken fillets Da_Boyzz was using had dropped and no one was fooled. They tried to grab her and force her out the door, but found her to be an immovable object. It didnt matter in the end.
Stuff you lot, Yelled Da_Boyzz. Your all a bunch of Morons. When Rabid tries to get more than he paid for, you wont have Big Daddy to look after you any longer
And with that
Da_Boyzz the Bouncer whipped off his wig and fake boobs and headed out the front door. Hailing a cab and knowing himself to be the best bouncer in the business, he decided it was time to find a new strip club. A quality establishment that would recognize his talent, and that customers would go to and not feel ripped off.
Take me anywhere but Treasures, he told the cabbie.

Final Votes:
Da_Boyzz (6) - Olaf, Angryman, Hammer, Tribalsinner, Joekano, Burn
Olaf (2) - Da_Boyzz, Gladiatorluke

AWW Feb - Spearmint Rhino: Day 3 (Thursday 8pm)

Post by Rabid_Bogscum »

It was Day 4 of the UNLV Australian club managers course, and the bus was still waiting outside the Bellagio for James (AKA Rabid) to turn up.

Hmmm, thats strange said Cheersie. Hes been running late before but hes never missed pickup
I heard he was off to the Rhino again, said Fuji (AKA Billy). Man we should have gone there instead of getting ripped off at Treasures the other night.

The group had waited too long, and the bus headed off to the university. All eager to learn about the importance of tiered loyalty systems to attract and retain members within clubs, and looking forward to their tour of the Venetian and Palazzo that afternoon.

(Meanwhile earlier on in the night,
Gladiatorluke AKA Rabid had finished up at the Rhino, spending way too much money on private shows but enjoying himself immensely. He hopped in a cab, but noticed Angryman chatting to the Cabbie as he got in, but didnt think too much of it.)

Take me back to the Bellagio, said Gladiatorluke.
No worries Boss, I just gotta make a detour Replied the Cabbie.

Driving to the other side of Vegas, Rabid just assumed this was like the other night when the cabbie had taken it apon himself to drive him to a Brothel. Despite the hooker that came out being the smoking hottest thing he had ever seen, thoughts of his wife and children compelled him to resist. Tonight he was armed again with the Starshots photo of his wife, which had her looking alright, which had convinced that cabbie to drive him back to the Bellagio instead of insisting he hit that fine ass. Tonight though he was driven someplace else. There waiting for him in an abandoned Casino site was a chair and 3 nasty looking old strippers. Olaf, Angryman and Tribalsinner all stood in their finest G-Bangers, wrinkles and liverspotted bodies proudly on display. They wrestled him out of the cab and tied him to the chair. They then proceeded to give him the nastiest lap dances he had ever had in his life. Each of them taking turns, this continued for many hours. When they were finally done, Gladiatorluke had a ghostly white complexion the girls didnt see what had happened. But Gladiatorluke simply disappeared. Years later when the Casino had been built on that location and subsequently imploded. A piece of the wall had flown across the Las Vegas skyline, crashing into the crappest strip joint in town, leveling it. Can you guess which one? Why it was Treasures of course. Forensic scientists examined the piece of wall, finding a mummified man inside, a man with the largest Penis they had ever seen :) and a photo of a legendary looking guy riding the Big Shot on top of the Stratosphere, with the following scrawled on the back.
I Just couldnt live with myself after that.

Rabid had had the last laugh after all. Atleast as far as Treasures being destroyed.

(Back to present day)

Hammer, Burn and Joekano arrived at the Spearmint Rhino ready for work. Only to find it boarded up, and a big sign saying Closed for Business. Sadly without Rabids $50s, no bouncer to protect the girls, no manager to work out when people were dancing, and only 3 hot girls to counteract the 3 Grizzled Old Strippers and the business they turned away, they greatest strip club in Vegas could no longer stay open.

The game is won and lost. Victorious with a clean sweep and all three people in tact is team evil AKA the Grizzled Old Strippers Olaf, Angryman and Tribalsinner. Congrats guys. Ill post my comments on the game later, and apologies if it wasnt the smoothest or most balanced game going. But Ive learnt plenty for future ones if youll still have me.

Thanks burn, I'll take that as a compliment!

Oh, and full marks to the 5 of you for not picking up the HUGE mistake I made.

Bonus points on offer for anyone besides Rabid that can tell me what it was.

I think I may have guaranteed myself a Day 1 vote off from the next Werewolf game though.

I'll add more thoughts a bit later, but I'm pretty proud that we managed to get through the game without losing a single member, despite having to claim a good power role on Day 1!

Now I can get back to doing some actual work. This game is such a huge time sink when you're a baddie.

was it on day 2 when you singled out everyone as suss except your crew and virral, who had already been voted by two of you?

Thanks Rabid for running a well themed game!

Needless to say I spotted it... I was so frustrated when no one else did! Even when Gladiatorluke came out and confirmed he'd only had two viewings, still no one questioned it!!

Ugh, seriously though... letting Olaf get away without a solid claim on Day 2 was absolutely criminal. The fact that the GOS didn't take the 50/50 chance that he was the bouncer and therefore unable to protect himself just SCREAMED guilty to me, and at the very least it demanded a full claim to clear his name (or not, as the case may be).

See how Day 1 voting is important though? Olaf was caught arguing for a non random vote on day one, which almost got him lynched. And Angryman's votes are very clearly in support of Olaf, so if he had been revealed as a GOS it wouldn't have been hard to catch him either. My second guess for a GOS would have been Burn, who seemed to be playing a classic backup for the known GOS (switching back and forth between Olaf and Da_Boyzz, he seemed to be trying to distance himself from Olaf while still justifying the vote for Da_Boyzz).

Yep !! I presented at 7 different meetings already today, and I really wanted to be a part of the game - guess I should have taken a bit more time. Funny though.

And I didn't die !! Sure, I didn't win, but I didn't die !! A win in my book !!

Yep, when Burn asked Gladiator Luke what his third viewing was I thought I was toast. The the talk turned to Tribalsinner's baby (which I still don't think has been born yet), which helped us to push Burn's question to a previous page.

I thought I might have been a chance to be caught out again when Carnievan answered Burn's question about what time the vote was by telling him both the time and the game day.

In the end I think what saved me was the fact that the post where I "came out" was more like an essay so many people either skimmed over it or ignored it.

I was so annoyed after I spotted my error. I had written it in a hurry before I left work for the day and totally forgot what day we were on.

And Virral, I still disagree that everyone making random votes on Day 1 is a good idea. I think it just lets the bad guys hide by posting a "random" vote and nothing else. I wanted to appear helpful (which I thought I was doing) so that people wouldn't suspect me. In the end it just drew attention to me and almost got me voted off!

And yeah, you're just a little too good at this game Richard to leave you around. Spieroz was targeted for a similar reason (although we thought he may have been a power role as well).

Rabid, I never asked the question as by the time I realised the game was hours. But what exactly does this win condition for the GOS mean:

You win the game when you reach parity with the regular staff.

Who exactly are the "regular staff"? Everyone besides the GOS? Or does Rabid not count either?

Oh, and congrats to my fellow GOS. Angryman was a great wingman, helping to swing the votes away from me, whist still looking like he had the group's interests at heard. It was his idea to come out with a "soft" role claim, rather than a hard one. That call probably won us the game as without it I would have been gone on Day 2 at the latest.

Tribalsinner played the sleeper role very well. I think we may have even been able to win if today's vote had gone against us since I'm not sure how many people would have picked Tribalsinner as the third GOS.

And what exactly would have happened in a tie? The whole secret jury thing didn't sound good for the GOS.

I think that is one reason to have a "Night 0" phase for some of the powers, it gets people thinking about what they are saying.
If you have a seer type active from a Night 0 action, then people cannot just spout BS from Day 1.

But Olaf, don't you see what happened? By the vote falling on you, one of your partners was forced to act to try and save you. If you had been discovered as evil, someone who read back could see how Angryman had supported you and possibly also identify them.

That was made possible by spreading the votes out because even someone with a few votes can feel the pressure... we did after all not only flush out Angryman by the vote but also force you to fake claim a good role. The followup to that juicy data was pretty poor... but the theory is sound.

If, on the other hand, we all just pile onto a single player and that has happened in some games, we're either going to be super lucky and nail a baddie (which has happened) or we just waste a day and allow all of the evil players to go with the flow.

Far better to spread the votes out, and then see who are the people who manipulate the vote and "decide" who goes. Those people are far more likely to be evil than the ones who just lay a random vote on someone.
Nothing to see here!
