Overlord turn.

I draw 1 card, puts me on 5 total.

I activate the Goblin Witchers.

G10 moves to J2, where he interrupts to attack Jain.

Attack: Range 6, Damage 2, Surge 1 (wasted) vs Defence 2 = 0 Damage.

He keeps moving to K9.

H10 to J7, attacks Jain.

Attack: Range 4, Damage 3 vs Defence 1 = 2 Damage. Jain uses Warding Talisman to reduce Damage to 0.

H11 moves to J9, attacks Jain.

Attack: Miss!

I11 moves to J8, attacks Jain (Master)

Attack: Range 6, Damage 2, 2 Surges (Curse + Wasted) vs 1 Defence. Jain spends 1 Stamina to reduce Damage to 0, meaning Curse does not take hold.

Now I activate the Goblin Archers.

C6 double moves to L8.
C5 double moves to L7.

I play Overwhelm on Jain. Jain tests Willpower, and Fails. She is Stunned and Immobilized.

D6 double moves to N9
D5 double moves to L6
C5 double moves to J6 (Master)

I end my turn with 4 cards.

PS: The rewards for this map are:

1 XP for everyone no matter what.

If the heroes win, they get 50g and the Sun Stone.

Image

If the Overlord wins, he gets the Suns Fury Relic.

Image

Note: If you have the Sun Stone and are KO'ed, I can actually steal it with a Monster and possibly claim it as Suns Fury ;D

Sorry but you had to choose Rage before you rolled dice. You didn't reference it in Orokos, so it didn't get used and that Goblin only took 2 damage. That leaves you on 1 Stamina and the Witcher on 1 Health.

That might seem harsh, but it's the only way we can do it when not all in a room together. Plus when I mentioned that I even used Rage as the example!

I documented that in the other thread. If that's the case then i used it on the second roll and the Master is dead.

Not seeing Rage referenced in that roll either. Sorry but you don't call it, it's not used. You absolutely CANNOT decide to spend Stamina after the roll in order to get that extra damage you need to kill a monster, I was very clear on that.

Now, seems to me that Villager 4 has itchy feet!

Brown = 6. One Eye can choose his direction.

Not possible, you choose a direction and they move two spaces. Getting them to M2 would require two different directions (right and then diagonal up right).

albright move to n6
shoot vials at goblin in n9

6,1,5 http://orokos.com/roll/177479

2 damage and a surge vs 2 defence = no damage
surge used to recover stamina.

then brew an elixir for myself staying at 3 stamina

damn that high defense roll and 1 on the green

That was lucky!

Well gosh, if it isn't Villager 1 with his walking shoes on.

Brown = 6 (jeez). Redcard gets to move Number 1. Hint: The only result that actually moves him is straight up to K6, all other options leaves him where he is.

Given Redcard's options for the villager are nil....

I'll begin by activating the Stone first.

Stone moves to I9

Stone attacks Goblin Witcher at J9

Blue, Yello: 2#1d6 5 4

Range 5 (good), 2 damage, 1 surge (+1 damage) = 3 damage total

Witcher Defence Roll

Grey: 1d6 3

Saves 1 damage.

Witcher at J9 takes 2 damage

Activating High Mage Quellen. Terracall readies.

Action #1

Move to G4, Stamina move (1) to G5.

Action #2

Attack Boss Witcher in J8

"Target, maximum firepower"

Note Attack gains 1 surge (stone adjacent to target)

Blue, Yellow: 2#1d6 2 5

Range 2 (short), 2 damage + 1 surge, 2 damage, 1 surge = 6 damage.

Range falls short by 1, a miss. FUCK IT, that Goblin was toast.

If I'd have remembered to take a Stamina back (via hero ability) I could have moved one closer and not missed. Coulda woulda shoulda.

Ok, from where Quellen was standing he did not have LOS to the Boss Witcher (you can walk through Heroes like Jain but you don't get LOS through them).

I am happy for you to adjust to the Witcher in J7 since you do have LOS to that one? It'd kill him since you'd have the range.

If you want to move the Villager you can move through Heroes but not Monsters. I'm treating them like Hero figures, who can move through each other but still block LOS.

So you can move to K6 or leave in current spot, let me know which it is and then I'll roll for Fass' villager.

I could just as easily say they can't walk through anyone, the rules don't actually cover it.

I find the idea of a panicked villager running TOWARDS a scary monster a bit laughable, fluff wise, but if that's how you want it then no worries go for gold ;D
