NSW Open 2019

Just to advise that the NSW open will be on 6th and 7th April at Decked out Gaming in Manly 5/722 Pittwater Rd, Brookvale NSW 2100.

9:00-1730 each day

It will be run by Bojo and myself

This is a 2 day 6 game tournament with the top 2 places receiving invitations to the NSW team for ASC V in New Zealand 2020

Cost is $30
Swiss matchups
Scoring is Euc Bowl scoring
W/D/L 80/40/10 with Strength of Schedule tie breaking

Building your roster:

Each coach has a gold allowance with which to purchase a roster for the tournament using the rules within CRP.  This allowance may be spent on players, apothecaries, team rerolls, assistant coaches, cheerleaders, fan factor, Star Players and all inducements (except special play cards and mercenaries). The 2019 NAF rules and the NZ handbook that will be released in line with the rules announcement.  Version at time of print: 1.2.

In addition, each coach receives a skill allowance in order to upgrade players on their roster.  This allowance may be used to add skills to rostered players, but not mercenaries or star players.  In addition, the following restrictions apply:

No player may be assigned more than one skill except one Hero player who may take up to 70k of skills and stat upgrades as dictated by their skill access

Star Players purchased on a team’s roster may be included in the 11 player roster minimum.  If two opposing coaches take the same Star Player, the star is assumed to have an identical twin brother (or sister) and both players may be fielded as normal.  Please note that Apothecaries and Wandering Apothecaries may never be used on Star Players, as per the CRP rules.

Important: please ensure all players are clearly numbered so your opponent can easily identify which players have which skills.

This is a resurrection tournament and you commence each game with the same roster. No Star Player Points or injuries are required to be recorded. Roster changes after roster submission are not allowed.
