Tour is going Ok so far, thomsy got 3rd at klingenCon and I managed 3rd at Patatonia cup.

We drank over 150 beers on day 1 Patatonia

A wombats adventure

Great time, huge atmosphere, terrific fun!

9 new coaches, rulesset encouraged diversity (at least i only doubled up on Chaos Dwarves and otherwise played 7 unique races).

Some Personal milestones,

- Getting 24 badge along with those of the 52 others who have acheived that milestone who were present (thanks fnord23 and sumbloke).
- Missing playing on the top table for my team (Team Oz/ Team Wombat) for the first time in 3 WCs
- Seeing my 3 time fearless fnordy Captain make the top table in his 23rd WC game. Enjoying Nichren's Ogres leading Wombat from the front for 2 rounds!
- Completing my 3rd last team to 48 teams and over 10 games played and i flatter myself learning something about playing and enjoying High Elves along the way.
- Our little.Wombat Mascot making his way up.and down the table as we rolled Sankes Eyes or Double.Skulls. Bit of fun that took some of the sting from failure and many opponents found great fun.
- Last and possibly most importantly, 9 great matches against 9 great opponents that even with language challenges (i dont speak any eurpoean languages yet) were played in a friendly and good natured way.

One recommendation: take dice from local leagues/ county to trade. We had many such requests.

I personally just had Devils great Green and Gold Aussie Aussie Aussie!, Oi Oi Oi! dice which i gave to.each opponent. Some then proceeded to smash me with them . They all appreciated the gesture and although not the point some reciprocated with some cool new dice.
