I'm still very keen and will do another round of NZ recruitment soon. At this stage I am not sure I will get a full team from NZ.

Yeah sangraal (fnord23), Thomsy, and Creature dud 4 in 4 weeks last time.

I believe there is some within a week or two of the WC. Gnome is planning to attend at least one other I think.

I haven't scoped where andwhen yet though.

There are three currently advertised on The NAF website in the month preceding the WC:

Thomsy, creature and myself will be at klingencon for sure, possibly at the one in spain (then motoring down the cote d'azure to Lucca - my preferred option) and possibly another before (if the spain option doesnt happen). We're also going to gallipolli, probably before klingencon. Another thing to yak about next weekend at red cedars over a beer or three.

I have put my hand up to Captain the 'Wild Colonial Boys'. If Joe Kano can make it then I will hand the reigns back to his more than capable hands.

So for all those who under perform in teams or want to play a team just for the enjoyment then put your name down and come aboard.

at the risk of sounding condescending.....

You guys need to get your shit together, you have under a month to register. Work out how many are 100% definite and hence whether you are aiming for 1,2 or even 3 more teams, then put it out there on forums/facebook that you are looking for expat aussies to join your team(s) for the WC.

Even if you only get 9 or 10 anzac, there will be people from the eurozone who'll join your teams, trust me.

But i also think that you more senior guys should have a compromise position worked out should the worst case scenario happen.
I dunno, Team AusBowl could work.

yes it seems to me there was a better way of going about this... but hey im new here.

Get all the definites who are willing to commit. Put them in teams and then try and either put spares in euro team or put euros to fill out the odd number
