I was told that was being done so I stopped putting one together... Do I need to do this Grumpsh? I have Tim tonight butbtuatd about it.

The players pack on the first page = the things you need to know before the day.

110 TV no purchased skills.

On the day you will be given a post sequence reference sheet with all the information as to what needs to be done between each match. But it boils down to this.

Game 1- give 1-4 players a skill.
Game 2- give 1-4 players a skill, one of which can be a double.
Game 3- give 1-4 players a skill, one of which can be someones second skill.
Also- give yourself either a lineman a reroll or an apothecary.
Game 4- give 1-4 players a skill, one of which can be a double, one of which can be someones second skill.
Game 5- give 1-4 players a skill, one of which can be a double, one of which can be someones second or third.
Also Spend 70k gold in any way you would like for the last game.

Its simple if you think about it one game at a time. Its only complicated if like a Ress Tournament you're trying to work out your final build and your optimum strategy.

help me help you? Which bit don't you understand. This is a step by step instruction manual which if followed step by step at no point is harder than 1+1.

It's only progression if your players don't get hurt. If they do it's reset progression with no money or journeymen. So not really like progression at all... :)

S'OK, I went back and re-read the "skill progression" heading on the first page and it all makes a lot more sense.

I'm still not sure if I can add to my starting roster with money that I earn each game? That part is definitely not clear to me at any rate.

Surely you should earn money if you win, but only if you're not using a popular team. Perhaps some other caveats too such as if you don't earn many skills in the first two rounds you can bloat your roster with more players or RR's that you don't need? But if you earn more than 4 skills and have lost at least one player (original players only) then you winnings count for double.

Rest assured I will absolutely be clarifying the process for each captain first thing Saturday. But no you don't ever earn money. After certain rounds you are given the option to purchase things. Read above for specifics.

ok technically the comedy festival doesnt start till 26th but we have already been seeing ramp up ecents and stuff so got a little carried away...
