Hi All,

Welcome to our superhero Captain Hindsight's week in review:

Image

Note - Rookies make this a bit harder....thanks captain hindsight :)

Week 1:

If Only award (A single player that could have changed your week outcome) goes to -
Boggies Hellpit Hooligans for spinning the dice on the LA RAMS Defence this week instead of going with the Minnesota Vikings resulting in a 24 point differential that would have resulted in a win for the Hooligans this week.
Honourable mention to Tribals Bushrangers who could have put in M Sanu instead of any of his flex WR position players would have been an 18 point differential and got him the win. Thanks Captain Hindsight!

Like A Boss award (The coach that picks the highest scoring players out of their roster as active) goes to -
Oneeye's Wanderers left the slimmest pickings on the bench with 27 potential points behind. Tethereds Longdroppers getting an honourable mention on 28 points left behind. Neither of these results would have shifted with these points correctly played. "Plenty more hindsight power where that came from!" - Captain Hindsight

Left It All On The Bench award (The coach who scores the highest with players left on the bench) goes to -
Not only did the Brisbane Bogans go off this week with clearly the highest score in the league, he also left 40 points on his bench! The highest amount of any team this week. "Must be nice" - Captain Hindsight.

Hi All,

Note - Rookies make this a bit harder....thanks captain hindsight :)

Week 2:

If Only award (A single player that could have changed your week outcome) goes to -
Not one player could have made the difference this week! You were all doomed to lose those matches.
Thanks Captain Hindsight!

Like A Boss award (The coach that picks the highest scoring players out of their roster as active) goes to -
JoeKano's Sky Knights with only 4 points left behind on the bench between B Bortles and T Johnson with 2 apiece. If he had put these players in for his perfect score, he would have lost by 0.5 points!
"Plenty more hindsight power where that came from!" - Captain Hindsight

Left It All On The Bench award (The coach who scores the highest with players left on the bench) goes to -
Tribalsinners Bushrangers managed to leave a whopping 90 points on the bench this week with both T Taylor and T Benjamin combining for 71 of those points in just two players! The bushies missed out by 51 points this week so winning was definitely within their reach.
"Ouch" - Captain Hindsight.

Hi All,

Welcome to our superhero Captain Hindsight's week in review:

Image

Note - Rookies make this a bit harder....thanks captain hindsight :)

Week 3:

If Only award (A single player that could have changed your week outcome) goes to -
Suttbutt's Northern Predators missed out on a win this week by not starting T Pryor over M Bennett with a 28 point differential which would have resulted in a much needed 3 point win for the predators this week.
Honourable mention to the Maulbourne Minotaurs who didn't play L Blount missing out on 31 potential points. This would still have resulted in a narrow loss for the Minotaurs but victory was well within their reach this week.
Thanks Captain Hindsight!

Like A Boss award (The coach that picks the highest scoring players out of their roster as active) goes to -
BeefyGoodness' Bonner Massiv only missed out on 5.5 points between M Jones and E Kendricks this week. This would have still resulted in a close loss that came in as the second highest losing score record in the league!
"That's a deep burn!" - Captain Hindsight

Left It All On The Bench award (The coach who scores the highest with players left on the bench) goes to -
Karnov's Maulbourne Minotaurs are the winners this week leaving a whopping 84.5 potential points sitting on the bench.
Even putting in only half of these points would have resulted in a win for the Minotaur's this week.
"Ouch" - Captain Hindsight.

Special hindsight award goes to Odell Beckham Junior this week for picking a fight with an inanimate object. The poor kickers net fought back bravely though much to its credit:

Hi All,

Welcome to our superhero Captain Hindsight's week in review:

Image

Note - Rookies make this a bit harder....thanks captain hindsight :)

Week 4:

If Only award (A single player that could have changed your week outcome) goes to -
Karnov's Minotaurs are the winners this week by not putting in M Ryan (The number one ranked QB in Fantasy Football) over Cam Newton and missing out on 30 points! This would have resulted in a win for the Minotaur's that was easily in their reach.
Honourable Mention goes to the Mathfuric's Pests with Will Fuller (Unactivated Rookie) who could have made the difference this week missing out on 27 potential points that would have given them the win to stay at the top of the table.
Thanks Captain Hindsight!

Like A Boss award (The coach that picks the highest scoring players out of their roster as active) goes to -
Tethered Goats Long Droppers missed out on 11.5 points this week between S Lee and D Williams making them very close to becoming the Captains nemesis (with honourable mentions in other weeks). This points differential would not have brought them close to winning unfortunately with teams averaging over 160 points scored against the Droppers every week!
"Thank God for small miracles" - Captain Hindsight

Left It All On The Bench award (The coach who scores the highest with players left on the bench) goes to -
For the second week in a row! Karnov's Maulbourne Minotaurs are the winners leaving a concerning 66.5 potential points sitting on the bench. Almost half of these points were missed from the resultant 'If Only" award this week in M. Ryan, with the remaining points spread across 4 other positions.
Again only half of these points left begging on the bench would have resulted in a win for the Minotaur's this week.
"Double Ouch" - Captain Hindsight.

Honourable mention goes to One Eye's Wanderers coming in second with the "Left It All On The Bench" award leaving 56 potential points behind across 5 positions. Only 30 of these points would have resulted in a win for the Wanderers this week.

Hi All,

Welcome to our superhero Captain Hindsight's week in review:

Note - Rookies make this a bit harder....thanks captain hindsight :)

Week 5:

If Only award (A single player that could have changed your week outcome) goes to -
Suttbutt's Northern Predators win the award this week with Amari Cooper left behind on the bench who if played instead of I Crowell would have gained 30 points and resulted in a win this week for the predators.

Thanks Captain Hindsight!

Like A Boss award (The coach that picks the highest scoring players out of their roster as active) goes to -
A solar flare of foresight seems to have many of the coaches this week with record lows almost across the board of points maximised! :-\
We have a double award with two coaches picking a perfect lineup in One Eyes Wanderers and Mathfuric's Grudgeland Pests both leaving donuts of available points behind.

Also honourable mention again to Tethered Goats LongDroppers only leaving a single point on the bench this week.
"Get the F outta here with that foresight..." - Captain Hindsight

Left It All On The Bench award (The coach who scores the highest with players left on the bench) goes to -
Suttbutts Northern Predators win the award this week on a statistically very thin week (We are blaming a solar flare effecting all super hero's powers of hindsight) leaving behind a total of 52 potential points on the bench.

This would have resulted in a win for the predators this week.
"Ouch" - Captain Hindsight.

Feel good stories of the week:
Odell Beckham Junior making up with the kicking net this week after finally getting into the endzone, and
congrats to the Minotaurs for getting off this report this week ;)

Welcome to our superhero Captain Hindsight's week in review:

Note - Rookies make this a bit harder....thanks captain hindsight :)

Week 6:

If Only award (A single player that could have changed your week outcome) goes to -
No single player could have change the weekly outcomes for week 6.
An honourable mention to JoeKano's Skye Knights who just missed out with 7 points spread across 2 players - T Siemians and D Baldwin.

Thanks Captain Hindsight!

Like A Boss award (The coach that picks the highest scoring players out of their roster as active) goes to -
Another perfect score this week going to TribalSinner's Bushrangers with 0 points left behind.

Honourable mention goes to Mathfuric's Pests only leaving a measly 3.5 points behind. Both Mr Furic and Mr Dropper are in contention for the title of Hindsights "Nemesis".

"A little too much foresight going on" - Captain Hindsight

Left It All On The Bench award (The coach who scores the highest with players left on the bench) goes to -
BeefyGoodness wins the award this week narrowly with 42 points left behind across 4 positions.
Honourable mention with 41 points left behind goes to Billy Cole's Moles also across 4 positions. These points would not have resulted in a win however against a league record scoring opponent this week.

"Ouch" - Captain Hindsight.

Special "Coulda Been Award" - Goes to Coach One Eye with a league record high score this week at 237 points. The Wanderers managed to still leave 38.5 points behind on the bench! Not far from the top bench scorer this week. Imagine the score that could have been.

"Must be nice" - Captain Hindsight

Hi All,

Note - Rookies make this a bit harder....thanks captain hindsight :)

Week 7:

If Only award (A single player that could have changed your week outcome) goes to -
Wow what a week! with 4 potential award winners across the league!!! This has never happened before.
The winner of the "If Only" award this week goes to coach Mathfuric of the Grudgeland Pests by failing to put in M Forte over J Howard resulting in a 28.5 differential. This would have made all the difference in a 7 point loss.

Honourable mention goes to coach One Eye of the Wanderers by failing to put in R Parker over M Jenkins resulting in a 12.5 point differential in a close 6.5 point loss.

Honourable mention goes to coach Billy Cole of the Moles by failing to put in B Wagner over R Jones (Move L Collins) resulting in a 29.5 point differential in a 23.5 point loss.

Honourable mention goes to coach Suttbutt of the Northern Predators by failing to put in L Murray over M Bennett (move P Garcon) resulting in a 19 point differential. The 14 point loss would have been able to be overcome with just this one player.

"Quadruple ouch"
Thanks Captain Hindsight!

Like A Boss award (The coach that picks the highest scoring players out of their roster as active) goes to -

The winner of "Like A Boss" this week goes to coach BeefyGoodness of the Bonner Massiv. Missing out on 7.5 points across two players. For the second time this season the second highest weekly score results in a loss for the Bonner Massiv, these points could have resulted in a 167.5 point tie versus unbeaten and unmatched Brisbane Bogans.

"Sucks to be you" - Captain Hindsight

Left It All On The Bench award (The coach who scores the highest with players left on the bench) goes to -
The winner this week is coach Joe Kano of the Skye Knights who managed to leave 53.5 points behind (almost as many as he scored!) but it didn't matter as he was playing the bye.

Honourable mention goes coach Billy Cole who left 53 points behind on the bench across 4 players. Just one of these players could have resulted in a win this week for the Moles.

"You make me happy" - Captain Hindsight.

Special Hindsight Award" - Goes to the Cleveland Browns quarterback position. Never before has putting on the Browns QB jersey been so much likened to wearing the "red shirt" on a star trek away team.

"Friends don't let friends be a browns QB" - Captain Hindsight

Welcome to our superhero Captain Hindsight's week in review:

Image

Note - Rookies make this a bit harder....thanks captain hindsight :)

Week 8:

If Only award (A single player that could have changed your week outcome) goes to -

No single player could have changed this weeks outcome, not close.

"Move along, nothing to see here"
Thanks Captain Hindsight!

Like A Boss award (The coach that picks the highest scoring players out of their roster as active) goes to -

The winner of "Like A Boss" this week goes to coach One Eye of the Wanderers putting up a perfect score "The doughnut" of wasted points on the bench and has officially earned the title of "Nemesis" this season, Grrr.

Honourable mention to coach TribalSinner of the Bushrangers who only left 6 points on the bench across 2 positions.

"Get out!" - Captain Hindsight

Left It All On The Bench award (The coach who scores the highest with players left on the bench) goes to -
The winner this week is coach Suttbutt of the Northern Predators leaving behind a potential 58.5 points on the bench. Even if he had put in all of these points he could not have overcome the 71 point differential, losing to the Maulbourne Minotaurs.

"The bright spot in my day" - Captain Hindsight.

Special Hindsight Award" - Goes to Captain Hindsight, for doing this column before the points adjustments are pushed through which can result in changes to the game outcomes and point differentials.

"You live and learn, or you don't"

Thanks Captain Hindsight!

Hi All,

Welcome to our superhero Captain Hindsight's week in review:

Image

Note - Rookies make this a bit harder....thanks captain hindsight :)

Week 9:

If Only award (A single player that could have changed your week outcome) goes to -

No single player could have changed this weeks outcome for the second week in a row, although honourable mention goes to coach Joe Kano of the Skye Knights narrowly missing with either of two defensive players (C. Mosely and W. Ghoulston) who combined would have easily won for him this week.

"Move along, nothing to see here"
Thanks Captain Hindsight!

Like A Boss award (The coach that picks the highest scoring players out of their roster as active) goes to -

The winner of "Like A Boss" this week goes to coach Karnov of the Maulbourne Minotaurs scoring the perfect "0" points left behind. Karnov abused the ~80% of the roster on a bye this week to achieve this however ;)

Honourable mention goes to Beaso of the Brisbane Bogans only missing out on 5.5 points in a single position. Also managing to be the lowest scorer across the league this represents a polar shift for the Bogans in terms of weekly results so far.

"Get out!" - Captain Hindsight

Left It All On The Bench award (The coach who scores the highest with players left on the bench) goes to -
The winner this week is coach Mathfuric of the Pests missing out on 45.5 potential points across two positions (40 points in a single player M. Ingram). This did not impact the overall result this week with the Pests winning comfortably.

"Bye weeks are cheating" - Captain Hindsight.

Thanks Captain Hindsight!

Note - Rookies make this a bit harder....thanks captain hindsight :)

Week 10:

If Only award (A single player that could have changed your week outcome) goes to -

Coach Tethered Goat of the Long Droppers by not putting in Dez Bryant and missing out of 25 potential points would have made a 14 point winning difference this week against One Eye'sWanderers.

"Ouch"
Thanks Captain Hindsight!

Like A Boss award (The coach that picks the highest scoring players out of their roster as active) goes to -

Coach Tribal Sinner of the Bushrangers wins this week leaving another bagel on the bench. Unfortunately this didn't help him get over the hump against the Predators this week.

Honourable mention goes to Coach BeefyGoodness of the Bonner Massiv missing out on 3 points on 1 player.

"Get out!" - Captain Hindsight

Left It All On The Bench award (The coach who scores the highest with players left on the bench) goes to -
The winner this week is coach Tethered Goat of the Long Droppers who missed out on a large 59.5 potential points on his bench across 5 positions. Multiple players could have gotten the Long Droppers the win this week out of this points pool.

Honourable mention goes to his opponent coach One Eye of the Wanderers leaving behind 54 potential points across 4 positions. He tried really hard to give the game away but Tethered Goat told him to hold his drink.

Thanks Captain Hindsight!

Image

Note - Rookies make this a bit harder....thanks captain hindsight :)

Week 11:

If Only award (A single player that could have changed your week outcome) goes to -

No single player could have made the difference this week! A lot of games that were not close, or teams that left almost nothing behind.

Thanks Captain Hindsight!

Like A Boss award (The coach that picks the highest scoring players out of their roster as active) goes to -

Karnov of the Maulbourne Minotaurs has won by only leaving 4 potential points behind on his bench, unfortunately this didn't help him get the win this week.
"Bye weeks are cheating!" - Captain Hindsight

Left It All On The Bench award (The coach who scores the highest with players left on the bench) goes to -
Coach Suttbutt wins the award this week leaving 66.5 potential points on the bench across 5 positions in an otherwise stingy week for the rest of the league. This didn't cost suttbutt this week as he got the win anyway.

Thanks Captain Hindsight!

Week 12:

If Only award (A single player that could have changed your week outcome) goes to -

Mathfuric of the Grudgeland Pests wins this week by leaving M. Ingram on the bench, missing out on 33 potential points and would have won him a critical divisional match by 26 points!

"Ouch" - Captain Hindsight

Like A Boss award (The coach that picks the highest scoring players out of their roster as active) goes to -

Coach One Eye of the Wanderers has won by leaving 14 potential points behind on his bench, he just scraped through this week by 7 points so it was not misplaced effort.

Both the Knights and the Bushies came very close (15 and 16 points respectively but anything more than 10 isn't "honourable" ;) ).

"Bye weeks are cheating!" - Captain Hindsight

Left It All On The Bench award (The coach who scores the highest with players left on the bench) goes to -
Coach Suttbutt wins the award this week for the second week in a row leaving 62 potential points on the bench across several positions. Unfortunately this was during the bye week for his team so he's not really feeling the burn.

Honourable mention goes to the Bogans, the Droppers, the Massiv and the Pests all leaving more than 50 points on the bench this week (54, 51, 51 and 50 respectively).

A special hindsight award goes to the whole league this week for the largest combined total 409 points left behind!
Thanks Captain Hindsight!

Note - Rookies make this a bit harder....thanks captain hindsight :)

Week 13, end of regular season:

If Only award (A single player that could have changed your week outcome) goes to -

Mathfuric of the Grudgeland Pests wins the award for the second week in a row! Leaving A.Dalton over D. Brees on the bench, missing out on 18 potential points and would have won him a playoff berth by 14 points! (J. Edelman over G. Olsen would have also resulted in a win by 8 points).

Beaso of the Brisbane Bogans get an honourable mention for leaving B. Graham on the bench over C. Jones resulting in a 10.5 point differential and would have sealed a win by 7 points.

"That's a deep burn" - Captain Hindsight

Like A Boss award (The coach that picks the highest scoring players out of their roster as active) goes to -

Coach JoeKano of the Skye Knights wins the award this week only leaving 6 points on the bench in one player: D. Parker.

Honourable mention goes to Coach One Eye of the Wanderers only leaving 6.5 points on the bench across two players.

"Bye weeks are cheating!" - Captain Hindsight

Left It All On The Bench award (The coach who scores the highest with players left on the bench) goes to -
We have a tie this week with the award going to both the Bonner Massiv and the Grudgeland Pests. Coach Beefy and coach Mathfuric both left 47 points on the bench across multiple positions. This would have been more than enough to get the win for both teams this week.

Season Awards Post to follow.
