we all knew its Opaque but we are still waiting to hear if Mantic would make a clear version or not. Still no answer but alot of interest is building for a clear board.

I'm thinking about building a board on an old Xray light box so the light comes from beneath, and then add a couple of spotlights with 'black light' globes to make everything glow

I've done a bit of investigation into the possibility and come up with two ways to create the effect. One would be a piece of cake to set up the hardware for (software is a little more complicated than the hardware), the other is more difficult both in hardware and software (but cheaper).

Honestly? Id probably just buy flashing xmas lights and install them into a board with a translucent surface above it.

Googling LED strip light there are plenty of inexpensive options

Yeah, using LED strip lights was the easy hardware option. I would want software to control them though.

Over 1000 pledges now and just cracked $176k so the female team is in as an extra with 2 female players in the striker package. Lots of info in the last few update if you havent seen them they are worth a read
