Could you maybe get a funnel-web as a big guy? They are uniquely Aussie and scary as...

"Braindead", I saw the cinema release way back then. It had an international release title of "Dead Alive". Not as good as "Bad Taste", but better than "Meet the Feebles" IMO. The lawnmower was a nice touch.

I think the problem you've got is you've actually done most of the really distinctive animal shapes. Doing more animals is just "another animal but bigger". The robot idea is pretty cool, but I'm not convinced of that one.

The only remaining thing that I can think of to have the big guy be a giant Aussie bloke. Complete with cork hat, stubbies and singlet, beer in one hand as he barrels down the field bashing people out of the way with the other. Presumably some more cliches can be crammed in here easily enough.

It's distinctive, since he's not an Australian animal. But completely fits within the theme. It also helps serve to explain who trained all of these wombats and kangaroos to work together on the BB pitch.

This is the image Wikipedia has as a description for a Billabong, it's what I will use as a guide. So long grass with maybe some water effects. Probably not worry about grid lines. Might get some old bases and have a few goes at it

I like the thought behind it, might do some searching. Maybe I will search the Australia zoo website for Steve Irwin key chain or something Crikey

I like this idea, but how about an Aboriginal Warrior type?

After varnish

Basing to go but I'm happy with the result, eyes need to be perfected but it would pass as table top standard. Which is my only real aim. Thanks Virrals for trying to fix my first post. Been having issues with photobucket

Bit of progress, looking for opinions. Does the face mask look cool or not?

It looked better in my mind, I am sure others could make it look better.

The mask does look good.

Although I'm not too certain about the white dots. If they're meant to be ventilation holes, doing them black or dark grey might have been better.
