Well that is good new. I am anticipating probably 4-5 teams from ANZ combined.

Team Wombat
Team Kiwis *
Team West *
Team ANZAC *
Team EAST *

*No intention to force these names, more just iundicating from where they will be primarily formed. :)

Should be great :)

Bump - peoples if you are interested still plenty of time to post up here.

I am begining to think about shirts/ jerseys similar to what was created for the last two World Cups (wont be restricted to attendees so anyone can grab one).

Also starting to review accomodation as well. I'm looking for group stuff, that would also accomodate couples, etc. So if like me you are bringing your Significant Other along for the holiday then you can still stay with the other OZ/NZers :) . But don't let that stop you sorting yourselves out as I will mostly just be posting options once they come to light from my searching.

Mate i'm impressed you are so organised, I will be dragging my partner along.

I am going to book my flights when they open in a couple of months.. only problem is that it clashes with my annual "free" trip back to AU for a work conference :( So I will get it approved soon.

800-1200 coaches will be descending on Lucca and surrounds plus any staying late from the Games Fair the weekend before. I figure accommodation may be at a premium later on. At least knowing the options and likely costs now may help some plan to come along :)

My youngest sister has decided to get married in May 2015...in Italy!
This has a massive likelihood of scuttling my Nov 2015 WC plans.
Why could she not simply fly home from London (where she's been living for the last 15-20yrs) and get married in NZ or even AUS?
Her matron of honour lives in Melbourne!
Her husband-to-be is from Sth Africa so it's not like Italy means anything to them!
Bloody selfish I say!
:p

Bump for interest.

I know a lot of people within Oz/NZ are looking forward at present the the ASC 3 in WA for March next year.

Just wanted to keep in mind that Lucca, Italy in NOV is not too long after if you are also keen for some international BB at the Biggest and one of the Best tourneys going in the world of BB. :D

Feel free to start talking int his thread as well amongst yourselves to arrange teams of like minded coaches.

Cheers :)

I'm still in and have saved enough to be able to attend (barring unforeseen circumstances). I'll be first into our second team (and suggest the name Team Dropbear, to keep with the animal system Team Wombat established).
